O dado é dividido em 3 classes: 1) APP de Curso D'água: Gerado a partir de buffers no entorno dos trechos de drenagem elaborados pela Profill, dos tipos Perene, Intermitente e Retificado. O tamanho de cada APP varia de acordo com a largura do Curso D'água, assim como determinado no Novo Códfigo Florestal; 2) APP de Nascente: Raio de 50 metros no entorno dos pontos de Nascentes, elaborados pela Profill, conforme determina o Novo Código Florestal. 3) APPs que englobam a totalidade da área das Ilhas do Delta do Jacuí, pertencentes à Porto Alegre, conforme determinado pela Lei Orgânica do Município de Porto Alegre/RS (LOM) - Capítulo VII - Art. 245 - Item VI
